Description
As you know the original Control4 C4-HC-300 Power Supply are failed ! the Super duty at the same old price Here we offer Aftermarket one Not made by Control 4 -it has a better capacitor and performance. Installation will take about 30-45 min (need to cut the old wire and connected to the new PSB) Do not power before everting is hooked in place ! This is not OME it will need to be install as picture show (include exposer of the wires end) Picture 2 Shows a defective PSB removal you will get what is shown in the other pictures 5-12) This is Not OEM The new installation involves Cutting the wires (4) and reconnecting the same wire to the new PSB. the new PSB will be held in place by only 1 screw . If you are not 100% sure how to wire email us before you power up !!! Output Voltage (VDC) 5.0V Output Voltage Accuracy ±1% Rated current (ADC) 4.0A Rated power (W) 20 W Ripple and noise (MVP - p) Rated input Voltage, 20 MHZ band ≤100mV Linear adjustment rate (Full load) ±1% Load regulation (10-100% load) ±3% Start/ up time 2000ms, 30ms/115VAC 1000ms, 30ms/230VAC Keep time (ms) 16ms/115VAC 50ms/230VAC Overload protection (Rated input voltage) Rated output power of 115%-150% Protection mode: hiccup mode, the abnormal condition of abnormal load can be automatically returned Short Circuit Protection (Rated input voltage) Long short circuit, automatic recovery Over current protection (Rated input voltage) ≥1.1 times Io Start delay holding time (ms) (Vin:230V AC) 700ms Loss Electrical ,retention time (ms) (Vin:230V AC) 20ms Step 1. Lift up the corners of the rubber feet to reveal the screw locations, there is one screw on either end of each foot. Remove all 4 screws. Step 2. With the feet removed , you will now have access to the 8 screws that hold the shell together. Remove all 8 screws. Remove the bottom panel. Step 3. Slide the top cover towards the back of the unit, to expose the inside of the enclosure. Step 4. This is the inside of the unit . The power supply is located at picture (2). This is what you will be replacing. Make sure dis connect the 110V cable /supply from the back up from mains power. Step 5. Cut the wire close to the Power supply Disconnect both connectors , one is the input (left) and one is the supply output (right). They just unclip or cut. and unscrew the 4 screws that secure the power supply to the base of the enclosure. expose ¼” of each end of the wire (4 wire total) Step 6. Insert the new power supply and reconnect the input and output connectors as show the color is important and so is the location ( 3 connectors are getting the 110V In brown wire in center position L-N-G)( the 2 connectors are 5V out to the unit (-V +V) brown wire close to RED-LED) an fasten the board to the base of the enclosure with the 1 screw only You must make sure the new PSB is not touching the body of the unit(if need you may use the rubber lag under it as a spacer. Make sure to flow to color wire as show in the picture It is sure important as the high voltage must hook to L/N or you will burn the PSB) Step 7. Reassemble the enclosure . Once reassemble, you can plug the HC-300 into mains power and test. the LED light on the PS will turn on first The blue Power LED will come on again and it will be back in action. *** We recommend to use the rubber mat/legs in the process to avoid shortage
