Up for sale here is this power supply/protection board recap set for a Pioneer SX-1280. This is for two individual circuit boards--the power supply board AWR-157-B and the protection board AWM-123-0. This is all the parts you need to rebuild both of those Pioneer SX-1280 boards. Often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes the following: Power supply kit: 16 capacitors 7 transistors 11 diodes (5 zener) Protection board kit: 6 capacitors 2 transistors 3 diodes (one zener) These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, and 2 Supertech axial caps at the correct uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings. All capacitors are rated for 105°C, which is important for the power supply board. The transistors are the correct OnSemi subs for the original transistors. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild Pioneer gear. Parts for the different boards are in separate bags to aid in installation. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a moderately complicated job, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron, plus a little heat-sink compound.
