Up for sale here is this power supply board recap set for a Pioneer QX-747 power supply board AWR-040-O. Often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! Most QX-747s have an AWR-040-O board, which this is for. Some of them have an AWR-040 B board instead, which has a big white Noble 180 ohm resistor and a long gray 1000 uf 63v axial capacitor on it. This kit is NOT for that board. I can adjust the kit for that board if you need it, but please tell me beforehand. This kit includes 16 capacitors, 6 transistors, and 9 diodes. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild Pioneer gear. The capacitors are Panasonic FC and Nichicon caps at the correct uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings, the transistors are the correct Fairchild/OnSemi subs for the original transistors, and the diodes are 1N4004s and 1N5404 diodes. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a moderately complicated job, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. This kit may not fix your QX-747 if it has other issues, but it will definitely help it run better. Please see my pictures for details.
