Description

Wonderful , 13 inch long, circa 1905, French celluloid, sockethead jointed baby doll marked on his shoulders in raised numbers : FRANCE and SNF in a diamond over 35. This delightful baby has beautifully molded and painted, light brown hair with beautiful exposed ears and very detailed and painted features including intaglio blue eyes with high-lights , lovely mouth and nose detail as well as blushed cheeks. He has finely molded hands and feet with excellent finger and toe details, swivel neck and is jointed at his shoulders and hips (sits nicely). He wears a vintage baby gown over pants with matching, lace trimmed bonnet and is in excellent condition with no cracks or dents, no chips or hairlines and no odors as he is from a smoke free home.
