African Elephant Wooden Salad Serving Spoon And Fork Set Hand Carved 13 Inch Wall Decor. This wooden salad serving fork and spoon measure 13” long and are 2 1/4” wide at the widest point. They are hand carved and have an elephant standing on another elephant’s head at the ends. The handles are stained a darker color that has worn off a bit over time. The wood grain is lovely and rich. This type of item was very popular in the late 1960’s and 1970’s both for actual use and as a wall decor in the kitchen or dining area. In very good vintage condition there is some signs of age but there are no splits or cracks in the wood.
