The Capacitance of the originals is 15,000uf , these replacements are the same. Adding too much additional capacitance will strain other power supply components and the power switch potentially causing premature failure. Unless you are well versed in electronics and can do the math, I recommend to not increase capacitance by more than 20%. These Capacitors are snap in and you will need to use the provided terminal rings to solder in your wires. Capacitor size has decreased over the years with improved esr and ripple ratings. These are a substantial upgrade over the originals, even when they were new. With that size difference in mind, also included are simple to use yet incredibly effective adaptors to allow for mounting these smaller diameter caps using the existing clamps.
