Panasonic capacitors have become known as some of the finest audio power-supply capacitors in the world. Built of excellent quality and made to last, they have very high Ripple ratings for very high voltages, very important ratings for high quality audio power supplies. Please check this particular capacitor on the datasheet included in the photos. These are what one might call "extreme" power caps, as can be seen in the ratings: Ripple Rejection: 0.69 Amps RMS at 120Hz These are impressive numbers for most power caps at this size uf, and voltage rating. They are compact, yet use the very robust Snap-In style of PCB leads for the most robust PCB mounting. Beezar Audio used these as the primary tube plate (B+) power supply for the tubes in the Torpedo headphone amplifier. One of the huge advantages in using Panasonic capacitors at high voltages such as 400V, is that Panasonic used a black plastic disc to completely cover the top of the can. Many high-voltage capacitors simply have the can metal exposed on top, save for the small plastic wrap on the perimeter. This metal top is connected to the voltage and can shock the *!@%#$ out of you! Panasonic's plastic disc cover prevented that.
